Hawaii & Life without Joshi boy

Yay! I'm on my way to Hawaii. Quite literally, as I'm writing this while riding on the shuttle bus to the airport. Sometimes you've just got to love technology...buses with power strips and wireless internet connections! Who'd have thought? Ok, that undoubtedly has seriously dated me, but well, no point hiding from the truth!

Oh, and no, this isn't a fabulous tropical vacation I'm off to. Just another conference that is going to be a ton of work, keeping me up late and getting me up early...but set in the beautiful (if not ultra chic) Hilton Waikoloa Village.

One more week of being buried in work stuff, then I'm back and I get to see my boy again! It'll have been a whole month now, and by the middle of the second week I was missing him more than I can say. But, with the schedule I've had to keep, I have to believe he's been a lot happier getting to know dad better and spending some time with Grandma learning to speak Japanese.

Once he's back, it's just two more weeks until his pre-school GRADUATION! How time does fly! I'm inserting a picture of my pizza faced boy (from a birthday party he went to a while back) because that's all I've got on my laptop to look at right now. And now, back to work, work, work!
